We engage to the further training of vocational teachers

We engage to the further training of vocational teachers

In order to prepare our future specialists for their professional life, theory and practice must be intertwined. Therefore, we have invited teachers from Saxon vocational schools in Chemnitz and the Erzgebirge to give them an insight into the structures and processes in modern companies.

Floppy disks as a storage medium? In practice, they have long been obsolete, but in theory they are still on the curriculum.

Under the supervision of our colleague Ivonne Hoffmann, we have launched a lecture series for business and trade in collaboration with the LaSuB, which aims to provide trainees with practical learning content.

We have currently planned the following topics, some of which have already been presented:

1. Recruiting

2. Personnel management - requirements for a modern personnel tool

3. Digital personnel file - from onboarding to offboarding

4. Health management and motivation

5. Financial accounting & bookkeeping

We would like to offer this format repeatedly to other interested teachers in the future. For this purpose, we are in regular contact with the specialist advisor for business and trade, Ms. Musch. The lively exchange and the interested detailed questions from the participants at the end of each round of presentations speak for themselves.

All participants agree that this type of exchange and further training should take place on both sides.
