Kick-off meeting of the Business Initiative for Democracy and Diversity

Kick-off meeting of the Business Initiative for Democracy and Diversity

Yesterday, we were also guests at the kick-off meeting of the Business Initiative for Democracy and Diversity at Lars Fassmann's Villa Rosenberg on the Technology Campus in Chemnitz.

The aim was to sound out the actions and wording with which the interested companies and companions want to go public together.
The initiative was launched in February by Uwe Bauch, Karsten Schulze and Katrin Hoffmann, and yesterday almost 30 fellow campaigners accepted the invitation to a joint exchange.
Tim Jungmittag's introduction to the initiative was followed by a keynote speech from the employment agency's job center on the topic of skilled workers and why we will continue to be dependent on an influx of these workers in the future.
"Who will fill the gap?" - when every fifth person in Sachsen+ retires by 2030? We would like to shed light on this in order to clearly state what is at stake in the election year.
Open-mindedness, respect, integration and cultural diversity were the keywords of the evening.
We will report further.
