FDTech Brings Practical Tech Lessons to Goethe Gymnasium

This is the third week that Silvio, head of training at FDTech GmbH, has been back at Goethe Gymnasium in Stadt Chemnitz, currently accompanied by Kenny Weisbach, to provide technical profile lessons for years 8, 9 and 10.

Every Wednesday and Thursday, Silvio and a student swap their actual place of work on Bornaer Straße for the school building in the Gablenz district.

In this way, FDTech gives pupils an insight into the world of technology and an adequate basic technical education. In contrast to last year, we now also accompany the 10th grade in the technical profile lessons.

Although we do not want to be a mere stopgap for the widespread lack of teaching, we are committed to providing a good education for our pupils and the associated securing of skilled workers. This is another reason why we are involved in the “Business meets school” pilot project run by the Business division headed by Silvana Bergk.

We are particularly pleased that the entire student body participates in the lessons with a high level of motivation, discipline and enthusiasm for learning, and that the feedback from parents is also very positive.

We also pay great respect and recognition to the entire school team around Ms. Trompelt, because they have been enthusiastic about the project since the beginning and support us in our planning and implementation wherever possible.

We hope that more companies will join us so that even more pupils from other schools can benefit from this practice-oriented training.
