Driving Innovation Together. A Day of Exchange in Saxony

At FDTech, we believe that collaboration is the key to shaping the mobility of tomorrow. Our recent exchange on automated driving in Saxony, initiated and hosted by our partner staff-eye GmbH, once again highlighted the value of open dialogue and a collaborative mindset. What unfolded last week was an inspiring journey that showcased the strength of regional and international networks in advancing automated mobility.

The day began with valuable impulses from the AMZ – Automotive Suppliers Network Saxony and the Freie Presse Mediengruppe / Chemnitzer Verlag. Their perspectives on the regional innovation landscape set the stage for the discussions that followed. At Porsche AG in Leipzig, the focus shifted to concrete real-world use cases of autonomous mobility, demonstrating how theory translates into practical applications.

The final stop of the day brought the delegation to our FDTech headquarters in Chemnitz. We were pleased to give our guests a detailed look into our portfolio, our development approach, and our working environments. In particular, we highlighted our role within the CADA – Chemnitz Automated Driving Alliance, the emerging tech hub for automated driving in Saxony. As part of this alliance, we actively contribute technological expertise and solutions that strengthen the region’s position as an innovation center.

Among the international participants was PIX Moving, whose perspective as an innovative platform provider enriched the discussions significantly. Their openness and forward-thinking approach underscored the potential that arises when diverse players collaborate within a strong and dynamic ecosystem.

At FDTech, our work revolves around developing key components, concepts, and software solutions that help transform automated driving from an ambitious vision into everyday reality. Encounters like this reaffirm why transparent exchange and strong partnerships are essential: they provide the momentum needed to turn pioneering ideas into tangible applications.

We look forward to the projects that lie ahead. Projects that will not only enhance Saxony’s international visibility as a region of innovation, but also demonstrate the power of collaborative technology development. Collaboration drives progress, and together we are shaping the mobility of tomorrow.
