beWhatever 2026: FDTech Promotes MINT Careers and Regional Perspectives

At FDTech, it's close to our hearts to present our topics in schools, promote the next generation of MINT talent, and show young people the perspectives our region has to offer. Training our own apprentices is an important building block of our workforce. That's exactly why we took part in the beWhatever 2026 career fair and here are our impressions.
That was #beWhatever 2026 at the Martin Luther High School in Frankenberg, Saxony.
Over 100 companies and organizations from Saxony and Thuringia were on hand to introduce students and their families to nearly 180 apprenticeship programs and around 300 college majors.
Insights Into a Wide Range of Career Paths
In both wings of the high school and also outside the buildings, the young people were able to talk directly with exhibitors' staff and gain in-depth insights into a wide variety of industries and career paths.
What a fantastic range of opportunities for our young people in Saxony.
Representing FDTech GmbH, our training manager and co-founder Silvio Woltmann and Felicia Kollinger-Walter were there to promote FDTech to interested students and answer their questions about careers in our field.
Many thanks to the organizing team and everyone involved.
We're already looking forward to the next #beWhatever in 2027.
