Celebrating Entrepreneurship: FDTech at the "Saxony Entrepreneur of the Year 2026" Awards

Last week, the coveted "Saxony Entrepreneur of the Year 2026" award was presented at the Gläserne Manufaktur in Dresden. As a company that was proud to be among the nominees back in 2024, we know first-hand how much recognition like this means - not only for the winners, but for the entire regional business community.

A Worthy Winner: Vowalon Beschichtung GmbH

Mareen and Gregor Götz, along with their company Vowalon Beschichtung GmbH, impressed the jury with their innovative spirit, resilience, entrepreneurial mindset, and a clear commitment to their location in Treuen. Under their leadership, Vowalon now employs over 200 people and generated nearly 60 million euros in revenue last year.

The company has developed into an internationally successful specialist in high-quality synthetic leather and thus exemplifies Saxony's international competitiveness.

FDTech GmbH extends its heartfelt congratulations and wishes the team continued success.

The PARTZSCH Unternehmensgruppe in Döbeln and FAE Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Heidenau were also among the top three nominees. Both companies had the opportunity to showcase their outstanding growth during the awards ceremony.

Awards like "Saxony Entrepreneur of the Year" are about far more than a trophy. For a region like Saxony, they create visibility - for the ideas, the people, and the companies that drive economic strength and innovation here.
