Saxony as an Innovation Hub: FDTech at FutureSAX's Saxony Investor Day

Where do growth capital and technical excellence meet? For one evening, the answer was aboard a ship on the Elbe. FDTech GmbH was delighted to be a guest at FutureSAX's Saxony Investor Day – an event that put Saxony's innovation landscape firmly in the spotlight.
Exclusive Insights into Saxony's Growth Companies
Growth capital providers from across Germany gathered to gain exclusive insights into Saxony's innovation landscape and its most promising growth companies. The setting could hardly have been more fitting: on board the MS "August der Starke," selected best-practice examples demonstrated why Saxony has become such an attractive innovation hub for investments in growth companies.
This unique discussion format shone a light on companies that make a significant contribution to Saxony's innovative and economic strength. The focus was on the region's "hidden champions" – companies that drive growth through technical excellence, entrepreneurial clarity, and long-term thinking, and whose impact reaches far beyond the region itself.
A Strong Signal for Saxony
We were honored that the organizers included our CEO Karsten Schulze as one of the evening's speakers. It was a valuable opportunity to represent FDTech, to share our perspective on autonomous driving as a field of technical excellence, and to help send a strong signal for Saxony far beyond the borders of eastern Germany.
Karsten Schulze was joined on the speaker line-up by a distinguished group of voices from Saxony's innovation and business community, including Tillmann Blaschke, Thomas Horn, Nils Aldag, Martin Böhringer, Dr. Janina Jänsch, Achim Oelgarth, Dirk Panter, Thomas Rueckes, Susanne Stump, Fabian Gruner, Olivia Harder, Claudia Landrock, and Christian Olshausen.
The Prelude to the Innovation Conference
The Saxony Investor Day also served as the kick-off to the Innovation Conference, which took place the following day in Dresden. With an exciting programme of speakers and exhibitors, the conference continued the momentum – turning the connections made on the Elbe into deeper conversations about the technologies, ideas, and partnerships shaping the region's future.
Our thanks go to the organizers at FutureSAX for creating a format that brings investors and innovators together so effectively – and for giving companies like ours the stage to demonstrate what makes Saxony a location worth investing in. We look forward to carrying this momentum forward and to continuing our contribution to a strong, innovative Saxony.
